Pink For Spring 2007
Spring is back. With Spring comes fresh color. From pastels to brights. Color is here to stay. Pink, peach and pretty colors are a must for your spring wardrobe if you want to look your prettiest. Pink is after all a Spring color. It is also the most romantic color you could wear.
Somehow the pink brings color to your skin. Worn close to the face, it makes you look more radiant. Pink and its relatives peach and salmon are about the most flattering colors a woman could wear. A dress in beige with the palest hint of pink makes your skin glow. Very pale pink is professional, yet more feminine, more flattering than pure white. It gives your radiance in a subtle way. A strong in your face pink, like fuschia is blatantly sexy. All girl and not being ashamed of flaunting one's feminine side.
For warmer skin tones, pink tinged with gold, or salmon or any warmer shade of pink would bring out the best in a woman's appearance, while for cooler skin tones, a blue-tinged pink is best.
Rose quartz featured prominently in Zac Posen's work while dusty rose was favored by Carmen Marc Valvo who mixed silver with pink. Naeem Khan used pink in shades varying from pale pink to fuschia to bring out the femininity of the women who wear his clothes. Kiklos features a lovely shell pink in their Spring 2007 fashion. Betsey Johnson goes all out pink as in boudoir blush.
If pink is too girly for you, you could always wear
pink panties.
